Clipaper brings PDF annotation, free-form notebooks, and a reference board into one workspace for research and study.
Clipaper supports iPads running iPadOS 17.0 or later. You can use touch input even without an Apple Pencil.
In the Library, choose “Add PDF” and select a PDF from the Files app. Clipaper keeps the imported PDF in its library together with your annotations and reference-board content.
Clipaper cannot directly import Goodnotes' proprietary document format. Export your notebook from Goodnotes as a PDF with annotations included, then add that PDF to Clipaper.
When iCloud is available, your PDFs, notebooks, handwriting, and reference board are stored in your own iCloud container and sync between devices using the same Apple Account. If iCloud is unavailable, Clipaper saves your work on the device and remains usable.
If content is not syncing, confirm that the iPad is online, iCloud Drive is enabled, and sufficient iCloud storage is available. Syncing may take some time.
Open a PDF or notebook and choose “Export PDF” to share it. Handwriting on a PDF is included in the exported file. The reference board is a workspace aid and is not inserted into the PDF itself.
No Clipaper account is required. Clipaper does not send your PDFs or notebooks to the developer's servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
